Fun Times!

Mommy and Me put sleeves on our heads. Just the sleeves. Don't ask.
Cold air tastes good!
Papa plays the harmonica for me sometimes. I like it. I'm not very good yet, but just you wait!
Hi!
I like playing with my cup! I really gotten a hang of these "finger" things lately. If you have them, I suggest using them to grab whatever you can reach! Thanks for that tip, Tessa!

Bears, birds, walking and maps.

Nose-to-nose with a baby bear statue. I won the staredown.
Mommy found this whistle that sounds like a bird. I'm rather taken with it. Someday, I'll learn to play with it like Mommy does.
This is me and the Fam at the Holiday 5K Toy Run. We walked together. Mommy and I walked it last year (I was still RB then, so this was my first go at it "on the outside"), and Papa ran. We all look a little sleepy--it was a relatively early start for all of us!

This is me helping Papa to read a map. I am quite the cartographer, hopefully better at maps than Grandpa Joe!

Merry Christmas!

This is me and Mommy in front of the Christmas tree in our apartment. We're pretty!

This is me and Papa on Christmas Eve. I met a lot of Great Aunties and Great Uncles and Second Cousins and a puppy!

This is me all dressed up on Christmas Day. It was a low-key day compared to Christmas Eve. It was so nice to get to spend time with my family!

I heart Daddy!

Daddy and I always snuggle and play on the floor. He makes fun noises, and tickles me.

This is me growling at Papa. He calls me Little Bear, sometimes just Bear. So, I've been working on my growl. I'm getting pretty good. I should have teeth soon, which I'm sure will make me a much more intimidating Bear.
Papa also is the one who usually feeds me non-Mommy foods. We've had pears, green beans, and squash (You can see me helping him feed me in the pictures).I hear rumors that apples are next. My friend Tessa told me about banananananas. I don't know what they are, but she says they're yummy if I can get my hands on them.

I heart Advent

Mommy says I'm not allowed to "heart" Christmas yet, because it's only Advent and I haven't really experience Christmas yet. So, I am having a very fun Advent.
This is Nick. He worked for Daddy last year and really loves penguins. I have issues with his hat, but we at least have the penguin thing in common.
Here's me on my rocking horse, and in a Santa hat. I don't know who Santa is. Mommy said he's kind of like a Grandma with a beard and reindeer.

I think Grandma's and Grandpa's are going to give Santa a run for his money this year!

I heart Christmas Trees!

As I understand, it's getting close to Christmas. Apparently, one of the traditions is to bring shrubbery into one's home. So, Mommy, Daddy, and I went to a tree farm and lopped down our very own shrub. Here is a picture of Daddy next to the tree, and one of Mommy and me trying to cut it down.

This is me with a me-sized tree!
This is Bea with a tree on her head!

As you can see, this was a real family affair.

We all had a really fun time and I look forward to this becoming an annual thing!

Sitting Baby!

Here I am leanin' back in my crib.

Here I am, sitting up on my own. It is so easy, I guess I wanted to make my parents beg before I did it.
Ok, so maybe I'm not perfect at sitting yet but I am getting the hang of it.

My friend Tessa

This is not Tessa. This is Jack. He's a kitty. I had never met a kitty before. They're soft. I like kitties!

This is a picture of all the Mommies and Daddies with us two girls.

This is a picture of me and Tessa Sink. She's a little bit older than me, and she lives in Fort Collins, Colorado. We had met before back in June, but we've changed a lot since then.

We took tandem baths.

I don't remember what we were looking at. Bubbles, perhaps?

This is a picture of the Mommies getting us into PJ's after bathtime. We're both Old School Girls with our cloth diapers.

Happy Turkey Day!

Gobble! Gobble! Turkey leg is delicious!

All gone! (burp!)

I hope everyone had a happy Turkey Day!

My first retreat

I went on my first retreat the weekend before we left for Colorado and Kansas for Thanksgiving. It was called Encounter With Christ. I encountered a lot of people on the weekend. They are in this photo. I'm not sure which one Christ is--I'm not very good with names yet.
These are just some silly pictures of "Bethy-in-the-box" and "Bethy-in-daddy's-jacket".

Beep, Beep, Beep

I am learning how to crawl now. Mom and Dad call this Caterpillering. Watch me scooch backwards on this latest installment. Pay no attention to the pants. They were clearly the wrong choice. Horizonal stripes do nothing for me.

For those who aren't grandparents, you can skip ahead to 2:20 on the video, that's when I really start to get going.

My daddy is my hero!

On October 14, my Daddy spent a long time running and we had to drive all over this island to see him.

We were in Maine (my 16th state; New Hampshire was my 15th), a very pretty place, and Mommy and I got to see lots of fun people.

I helped cheer on Daddy!

He was really excited when he was done (and tired too). Mommy said that he ran a marathon and that is 26.2 miles. Now I don't know what a mile is but is sounds like no big deal. I usually fall asleep on runs so maybe that is what Daddy should do so that he isn't so tired at the end.

Me, my flopadoodle, and the tree wiggles

The bunny friend with me in these pictures is my Flopadoodle, but you can call him Floppy. He's my buddy. Also with me in this top picture are some tree wiggles that mommy got for me. I like to watch trees, especially the wiggly parts of them. Mommy and Daddy were telling me recently that the tree wiggles are all going to fall down soon, but I'm skeptical. They're just starting to get colorful, why would they fall down now?

If the tree wiggles do fall down, I'll miss them. I like to talk to trees, and they make me smile. There's one outside of our window that I look at every morning. At least I've got my Floppy to console me if that happens.

Mommy and Daddy haven't said anything about Floppy's fur turning colors and falling out. I wonder if that will happen? Let's hope not.
