Oh Christmas tree...

We try to have a real tree each year for Advent and Christmas.  Last year, Daddy is pretty sure that he was in mountain lion territory so Mommy said he couldn't go by himself to get the tree this year.  So we all went!
We decided to go to the National Forests near Crestone.

We had a great time hiking in!  Jonah even found this walking stick to help him out.

He ate a lot of snowballs!
Here we are by our tree!
And now Mommy and Simon are posing by it:)
The whole family!  A nice couple took our picture but Jonah was scared so that is why he isn't looking (he is in major meltdown mode at this point).
We enjoyed sword fighting with the extra branches.
 Daddy got snowed on!
Jonah made sure our tree could also be a motorcycle.

It really was a beautiful day!
Simon got tired of being carried so I switched places with him.
 He doesn't like the cold...
 But I don't mind it!
 Here's Daddy...
 And Mommy!

We let the tree rest over night and then we got to decorate it!

Then Mommy and Daddy tried to take our picture in front of it...Yeah, that went well.

At least the tree looks nice.

Potato gleaning

So I met a Mom here who has connections to a local organic potato farm.  They love people to come and glean the potatoes that the machines can't pick up.  Here are some pictures from the day that a group of 20 of us went gleaning...

Christmas part 2 and 3

Once we were all awake and ready to go, we opened the presents from the Pittman clan.

And wanted to play with the all immediately!

We were very blessed by our family's generosity!

Simon is training to be a muppeteer!
Jonah is turning into an expert mechanic...
Daddy is remaining normal (for him)

I am training to become British...
And Tulo is giving napping a try!
Many thanks to everyone for the wonderful gifts we received and the fun times we had!
