A baseball family

Jonah loves baseball.  After all the time he has spent playing baseball, playing with baseball toys, looking at baseball books, watching baseball movies...the rest of us have started to catch on how much fun baseball can be.  Here we are last Sunday in the backyard...
Simon was excited to be playing ball
 Nice hit Jonah
I wanted to be the catcher

Mommy says we are all getting big!

Now Jonah is being the catcher
 The classic dilemma...thumb or bat.

 Simon is a great cheerleader!
We decided that Daddy needed to be the catcher too!

Happy birthday to Daddy

Mommy took these of us for Daddy's birthday

These turned out alright...then Mommy tried to get us all together.

Daddy had a great day no matter how sad we looked in our pictures for him!

Now its time for Silly songs with Kiddos

Ok, so these aren't all songs but they are silly:)  Enjoy!

The term Puffy Party comes from the movie "Madagascar".  Jonah decided that this is what a puffy party looks like!

And this is what our dance parties look like!

And here is a parting shot...
Simon ran up to Mommy with this toy and said, "I'm Grandpa Joe!"

Camping is fun (part 1)

Over Labor Day weekend we went camping!  We loved it so much!

This rock was right by our campsite...we called it nap rock:)
Here we are building trail markers called Cairns.
We camped next to a stream and it provided lots of entertainment!
We threw lots of rocks into it.

Daddy enjoying the "rock show"
Three happy campers!
Four happy campers!

Jonah found this at our campsite and turned it into an "arm truck".
Simon took some good naps during our camping trip!
Jonah and Daddy down by the stream filtering our water.
We found an inch worm hanging out along our hiking trail!
Three little mountain goats!

Camping is fun (part 2)!

Here are some more of our adventures:

We ate yummy food on our trip.  Daddy made up pita pizza pockets!

Simon got pretty excited about them.
I was more thoughtful about them.
Jonah and Daddy got things ready for our first campfire!

We danced on nap rock because we were so excited about the fire!
Then we snuggled up around the fire!

The next morning the boys built their own campfire.

We took another hike...
and found the stump from the Christmas tree we cut down last winter!

We found lots of currant bushes but alas, no currants.

Simon loves currants!

Daddy made us another great dinner: Ramon noodles with carrots and chick peas.
And for breakfast we had tortillas with Mommy's homemade blueberry jam.  We ate a whole jar!

Camping is awesome.  We hope to go again before it gets too cold!
